Learn Digital Painting
Digital Painting is a very easy to understand concept and very complicated when practicing. This section will definitely explain some of the basic terms related to digital painting.
Starting with a rough creation, resulting in a more detailed texture of a object from mind or from an inspiration. Okay enought talk. Let's get started:-
STEP-1:-
In this section i m going to explain a very easily creatable object "Stone".
We shall do this in Photoshop. Because i m good at it. In background layer, we are going to use a medium sized brush, with medium level of hardness around it. Select a little darker color of your choice that you wanted to be your stone's color. It should be low saturated or medium saturated depending on our type of stone. For a basic practice use a low saturated one. Create a rough shape of the stone. Play with the brush hardness and color saturation and try different techniques to achieve your result. Now out line the stone with more darker color and hardness and brush smaller in size. So that the stone gets its sharpness or roundness at the edge and becomes more visible at corners and at bumps. Upto this step we've confirmed our basic shape for the stone.
STEP-2:-
For a round surface, shadow starts from the middle and end up at the farther end from the light source. And it is opposite in case of concave type surface.Our stone is a little round in shape. So, we gonna use the first case. Use a more darker color than the stone is, and start darkening from the middle of the curvature to the lower portion. For beginners using a real stone as a reference is appreciated and recommended. There is no more explanation, but you guys should be able to study the object.
STEP-3:-
Now the lighter portion is to be drawn. Don't afraid to loose the creation. Create backups of your document at different stages to understand the improvements. Keep experimenting the image to as to satisfy your soul. If you think you are done. Relax your mind for a moment and again think of what can be done to push your limits to next extent.
STEP-4:-
Last and most complicated step of your painting. This is time when you figure out all of the possible improvements in your document. Trying to get more realistic look of it.
Well, this section doesn't explains what to do or every single step. This section requires you the ability of basic understanding of the interface of the Photoshop. Hope this things help.

Task Manager is a powerful utility of windows. Many of us may know the use of it. But for most of the beginners it may be a very useful term.
Task manager maintains all tasks that is still running. For example: If a Pin Ball game is running, to start task manager utility press" Ctrl + Alt + Del". this opens task manager dialogue box. The application tab of which shows the running application. And it will show Pin Ball in its list.
If a software is hung for a while and you can't get rid out of it. This is the best method i usually follow.
Let it be the Pin Ball game that is hung. go to Task manager. click on application tab. (By default it is activated)
Right click on it. Click on "go to process". It will link us to itself in the process tab. Process tab is a list of each and every task still running in the background by the help of any means. Then click on "End Process" to end the process that is stuck. or right click on it to get more options.
Changing the view of the Task Manager. You just need to double click on the space between tabs and the list between the borders. That's it. Its default view is changed with compact view. cheers!

']]}Cloth tutorial for 3ds max
to create a cloth simulation, first create a plane in front view.
Then divide its length and width segments to almost 70 for both.
Convert it to editable mesh or poly. This will be our cloth later.
I planned to make a flag like element. So we need a stand for it to wave.
In top viewport create a cylinder a raise its height upward considering front viewport.
Now the cloth mesh need to be connected with it.
There fore we shall be editing it in vertex mode.
click on modifier tab. then click vertex mode from the list that pops up from editable poly or mesh mode.
create a curve around the cylinder by adjusting the vertex of side of the plane that is nearer to the cylinder (stand).
assuming every thing done fine, apply the cloth modifier to the mesh. click on "add object" button to add the cylinder into the simulation. Now click on "Object properties". Here are the list that are included in the simulation. Click on cylinder ( if provided a name for the cylinder, the name will appear). look for collision object check box. and check it so that the cylinder will be treated as the collision object. click the plane object and check the cloth object.
The simulate button will detect the settings and animates the cloth.
To make it look more realistic add forces.
cloth forces button lets us add forces into simulation.
